Transform USB

Does anybody know how to get windows to read samsung transform, i plug the usb into the computer and it wont read . I downloaded the drivers from the samgsung site and still have no success . I am trying to get it too where as SWUPGRADE can read it so i can root my phone .

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!

Read as what? If you want to root, you likely want the USB Debug mode which doesn't mount any drives to the computer. If you want to see the SD card mounted, that's a different deal. All you should have to do is turn on the USB storage mode when you plug it into the computer if that's what you want.

On a side note, it seems pretty easy to brick the Transform if you don't follow rooting instructions exactly. If you're not sure how to get it to communicate over USB properly, you might want to consider holding off on rooting. A stock phone is usually better than a non-functional phone.

How do you turn on USB storage mode? I've been unable to get the computer to recognize the device, too, even after installing the drivers and it seems it's a common problem with this phone.
