Transformer Infinity to TV via HDMI

I need some help please. Trying to connect my Asus to my tv via HDMI and it's not working.

Tablet: Asus Transformer Infinity
TV: Sanyo
Cable: Rocketfish Highspeed HDMI to mini HDMI. Brand new, just bought it yesterday at Best Buy

Procedure:

Connect cable to both tv and tablet
Select HDMI 2 for input on tv
Turn on TV and tablet

Results:

TV says: No Signal

Is there something I'm not doing? Something I'm doing wrong?

My tv does not support 1080p. Could that be the problem?

Try same cable on different tv, if still doesn't work, try different cable.

Should work fine, use it all the time. My cable isn't fancy, 20' 1080p from eBay.

Not sure if you misspelled but my tf700t uses a micro hdmi to hdmi cable. Not mini hdmi.

The hdmi out on the tf700t works on TVs that aren't 1080p so that's not it. When you plug the cable in do you get a notification on the tablet that says micro hdmi connected? Also are you sure, that you are on the proper input for your TV?
