Traveling with a 4G Tablet

I'm going to be traveling overseas and want to use my tablet on WiFi only. Is there a way to insure that it doesn't connect to 4G? I don't want to accrue data usage.

Best bet pull out the SIM card! That way is fool proof! Just take the SIM tool, pop out the SIM slot and take out the card, place it in a safe place, tape it to your desk or dresser? And then you will only be able to connect via WiFi. It may also be possible to do something via settings, but I would need to know what tablet you have and what OS it has.
