If you notice, the flap tapers almost to a point posteriorly, almost like a tear drop shape

So the tris to get an edge if a fingernail, no matter how short into the back (posterior) left gap and it opens easily.

It's much harder anteriorly (front) because the flap is much thicker versus the back

Sorry, I didn't get any of that. LOL

My trick. Once I get it open I pull the flap so it slides out a bit and vise versa closing.

Now with the Samsung Wireless Back Charger and 64GB Lexar microSD Class 10 card I no longer have to deal with this BS. :)

I don't see much of a trick to it - just open it from the left side.

I was waiting for someone to say that. I don't get all the trouble with the thing. It is simple. The darn thing is tethered to one side of the flap. Open it from the other. It's easy and I never have a problem with it.

Small screwdriver and the flap is gone. I have removed mine. I don't plan on dunking it in the pool or showering with it.

Where did you get your wireless charging back from? I've been waiting for Samsung to release it on their site but am starting to give up.

I have had the phone for a month and have not once been able to open it with any of my fingernails. I have to use an ibuprofen packet. my nails are short but still long enough to get into most gaps. not this one!

The real trick is the open the flap from the left side with finger nails. real talk.

I am always afraid I might snap off the cover lol.

I didn't get the OP's comment either <lol> I just use my fingernail and open on the only end that isn't hinged. Pretty darn easy.

But it's helpful to not use the entire left edge, rather the back left corner which will give you more leverage
