trouble downloading .ics files after lollipop upgrade

I regularly receive emails from business scheduling program that include a download link for a .ics file which I add to my calender. After upgrade to lollipop the download fails. Notification says "download incomplete", Standard downloading of attachments in email works fine. Any ideas on what's happening and how to fix? Thanks
