trouble locating images "saved" from browser

Ok, so I long press on the image, then click "Save Image"....I open Astro to find the images and they are nowhere to be found...Ive checked every logical directory....I also checked the settings in the browser to see if I could change/set the directory where they would save to, no luck. What am I missing here?

Open the stock gallery, click on download folder.

yeah, that was actually the first place I looked, they were not there. I'm going to restart the phone and then check it just for the hell of it

What browser, perhaps 3rd party browser has its own spot? If it's the native one, you can also check your downloads in your app list, the big green down arrow icon.

Native browser. And you're right going to the download app worked. Found it. Weird that it doesnt show in the gallery though. Thank you!
