I have a Sony Xperia Z5 E6853 running Android 7.0. I've paired it with my car, and I want to listen to podcasts and music in the car (a Skoda Octavia). I can listen, but the interface is everything but smooth:
1. The next/prev buttons on the car's screen stopped working after a recent phone update. The buttons on the car screen are simply greyed out.
2. No track information is displayed in the car.
3. If I'm playing music from a playlist, and try to view the playlist in the car, the car simply says there is no playlist. This has always happened, even when the prev and next buttons worked.
4. I subscribe to some podcasts from the bundled Music app (Apps -> Music -> Podcasts). When I start the car, it auto-plays a podcast if that is what I was listening to last. However, it doesn't start the latest podcast I was listening to, it seems to select another recent one. And it starts that podcast from the beginning.
Has anyone else managed to get this working a bit better? I'm surprised this works so poorly...
