trouble setting up freeserve email on Galaxy 3

I Have tried setting up my freeserve email account on my new Galaxy S3 but keep getting an error message saying 'unable to connect to email server to verify account information. No response from server. I have tried using the pop3 and imap settings but get the same response. Can anyone help. Many thanks
