Trouble with HTC Rezound Service

I got an HTC Rezound for Christmas and until approximately a month ago it was a great phone. Unfortuantely, about a month ago I started having problems with service and sending text messages. Twice in the past month I have lost service entirely and have to wait hours to regain service. Also, about twice a day I will send a message, the phone will show it has been sent, however the recipient will never receive the message. Anybody else have these problems or know a solution?
