True gapless audio playback on Z3?

Is there any FREE music player that truly supports gapless music playback from mp3s (not streaming from a cloud service) on a Z3?

Walkman app has gaps (absolutely outrageous in 2015), Google Music too, same with Shuttle.

Poweramp does the trick but it isn't free. Just switched from iOS and loving most other stuff but the need to pay to be able to play, for example, a sequenced DJ mix without gaps being added between songs is frustrating.

Just updated Walkman - doesn't change it, still a short but annoying gap present. Speechless really, this was the reason I wouldn't buy an iPod for years before Apple implemented gapless....FFWD 5 years and the same issues, even though it's clearly possible to do it on Android/Sony as Poweramp works (which I've just paid for, can't see any other option to play some of my tunes correctly).
