Does anyone else have trouble with their "Trusted Places"? I setup my home address so I don't need my password or fingerprint to unlock it. It works fine when I first add it but then when I leave and come back it doesn't work. I have to remove it then add it again to get it to work.

Mine was having an issue with trusted devices. I finally just deleted all devices and gave up. :-\

Do you have to keep removing and adding to work or just the one time?

That's odd - I use the Bluetooth connection to my car as a Trusted device when I'm working and I've never had a problem with it. After about a year with that car I upgraded to a slightly newer model and that has worked fine as well.
What kind of device were you using? Did you have any similar devices connected at the same time?

We had some strange issues in her car with trusted devices while running the AA app. Both of us using Pixel 3 XLs. Deleted the trusted edvices, and problem gone. I haven't explored it further.

Trusted devices works 90% of the time. Trusted location is a cluster mess. Probay works like 30% of the time. My wife complains about it not working on her 2 xl like almost always.

My trusted places works great at work, home is different story, I've added 6 locations all around my property and it works about 20% of the time. I notice when I go into Maps the blue dot is constantly moving around the house I reported that to Google by pressing the blue dot. My location is always within the blue circle of the trusted place but the phone still locks.
My trusted devices work fine. I tried deleting my home and re adding it, nothing seems to work. Happened on my Pixel XL and now my Pixel 3 and same for my wife.

I'm less than impressed with the Android Auto application so I'm not surprised. It would be interesting to see if just Trusted Devices worked correctly in that car (ie no connection to the AUX port; just the Bluetooth connection). What make/model/year car?

To clarify: running the AA app on the phone in her car (not a connected screen); a 2015 Nissan Sentra SL connected via bluetooth.

I LOVE AA via connected screen in my 2014 CTS VSport. For the most part it works great; except for the fact that SMS audible notifications have been broken for as long as I can remember.

Ah, thanks for the clarification. It would be interesting to see what happens if don't run the AA app but just try the Trusted Devices feature.
It's worked fine for me in a 2011 Kia Forte 5 and a 2015 Kia Forte 5.
I don't have enough space to list all the things wrong with Android Auto (connected to a 2018 Hyundai Tucson)...
