For those of you who are like me experiencing lags with phone especially unlock freezing. Can you give this a try?
Also people with no freezing issues please try this is you can. I hope you exercise:

So I went joging 4th time already. The only apps I use at that time is Fitbit (tracking run) and Runtastic (Tracking run) + Music player playing tunes. Maybe you can substitute first 2 apps for something else in that fitness section.

Leave it running lock your screen and walk around for 5-10 mins. Then try to unlock your phone, in my case my phone is rendered useless. The screen would not come on or respond for up to 30 seconds, everything will be lagging so badly it's like your phone is out of ram. Upon checking ram it still says 800 mb free and only 3 apps running. Eventually it will spring back into action, then after some more lock screen time it will be the same.

I took my HTC One m7 which is over 2 years old already, opened the same apps (running 5.1.1 too), 20 mins in no issues, 30 mins in no issues. Oppened 5 more apps in background, no issues.

Honestly what the f.... is wrong with Note 5? 4 GB of ram, latest CPU over 800 dollars in price and it can't effing run 3 apps in the background ?
I'm really sick of this now. Countless factory resets and nothing helps, when I come to service center I cant replicate this issue (obviously they cant wait for me for 10-15 mins walking around service center).

Use a fitbit and beach walk or hike and don't have this issue.

See this is what I'm talking about. I started another thread expressing my interest in the note 5 and asked for honesty if it has or ever lags. Everybody said it has no lag whatsoever. Then I see something like this thread about lag on the device......

Did you even had issues when not running anything? I have 3-4 times a day when I want to unlock the phone it would not respong the screen will stay dark or come on and freeze for 10 seconds or so. If you don't have this issue this will most likely won't be an issue.

It is honestly but it seems to affect very small amount of phones. Mostly 64 GB and mostly international version. ON XDA people seems to have solved this issue by rooting and installing different ROM (from another country). I don't want to do that and loose warranty. Tomorrow I will go to service center and ask them to re-flash the rom.

Each person's experience is different. How do you know they aren't being honest about THEIR experience with their device?

Today i spoke to Samsung Thailand and they are aware of issue and said they are testing new firmware. I take everything they say with grain of salt. They said to wait but i said i had enough. I went to service center asked them to flash rom again. So far eventhough i restored my backup 6 hours in and its flying not a single freeze. I still skeptical as usually it shows up 1 or 2 days after install.

Well celebration was premature the freezing issue is back. So effing fed up with this phone already

I don't know samsung thailand said to me on FB that they are aware of this issue and testing it for new firmware. I would take this with a grain of salt, because they never officially came up with this publicly. XDA already leaked 6.0 preview, they said its smooth but took a nose dive performance. Benchmarks from lollipop where 6400 now on 6.0 5600 hopefully this will be optimized.

Okay so today I went jogging again with new re-flashed FW. Phone froze one time before jogging for a big as I mentioned. Today (usually it starts lagging 5 mins into workout) I did about 15 mins into workout then it started again. 10 seconds responses from Power Button, unlocks then locks back because notifications didnt show up yet (actually lets you through to the phone home screen then locks back to notification screen where they start popping up). Once unlocked pull down notification bar lags like hell. Once it works it's flawless for 10 mins.
What can cause this? Fitbit or Runtastic? I had soundcloud firing today. I searched for any problems with these apps and nothing at all on the internet. Whats up guys?
