Trying to answer gear s2

[Android Central Question]

I am trying to answer my gear s2 watch but it keep routing me to my phone (saying check my phone). It's ringing and the green answer the phone sign comes up but when I swipe it says (check your phone). What should I do (I have an apple phone).
