trying to figure out how to root my new S4...these are my details...see below

S4 SGH i337 with android 4.2.2

Just began the root process with motochopper and I get a problem su binary out of date.
I don?t know where the fix might be and if you could direct me as to a new root process


How do I root and whats the best method to root this S4 337 on android 4.2.2

4.2.2 is very vague - we need to know your build number. Go to options/more/about device/build number - tell us what it is.

It sounds like you're on AT&T with MF3. In that case, you need to read here:

Yes there is a way. Just did mine yesterday and it was pretty easy. Here's the link to instructions:

New Root Method for AT&T Samsung Galaxy S 4 (OTA MF3) - xda-developers

You may want to follow that thread if you have any issues doing so. Long story short is you have to push the root files to your phone from your sd card via adb commands using the Terminal Emulator app (free in play store). Follow the instructions and you should be fine.

I don't understand...I said read the link I posted above. In that link it explains that motochopper doesn't work AND shows you where to learn how to do the new root exploit...all the info you need sitting there waiting for you if you will just click the link I posted for you a WEEK ago lol
