Trying to install CM7 - Need help...

When trying to enter recovery mode it says "Failed to reboot 2". I can't seem to get past this.

I am rooted, installed ROM Manager and flashed the ClockWork Recovery, and copied the CM7 package to the SDcard.

I got past the Failed to reboot 2 error.

Now I'm getting stuck trying to load boot.zip. It says verification failed.

Please help.

Is your bootloader unlocked?

Cyanogenmod 7 is not supported for the Motorola Atrix at this time. Might be why you are having an issue.

Yes you can load the cm7 stable version on your atrix, I'm running it now. You must have an unlocked bootloader and ROM Manager. Go here for instructions: * Official CM7 for Atrix Stable only (No Nightly )* Atrix CM ?B^?N RELEASED!! - xda-developers

I haven't tried CM7 yet on my Atrix.I have it on my Incredible and it's amazing but my fingerprint scanner and Web-top are things I use daily so I can't really rock CM7 until its ready.
But...I keep hearing people on XDA say it's very good and mostly functional so if you're not affriad to give up the above features go and download the ROM and make sure youre using the ROM manager cwm or ROM Racer's version either will work and back up your stuff cause it does a full wipe.

I too get stuck at "failed to boot 2" during Android Recovery.

1) wiped device to factory
2) rooted device
3) unzipped and copied Ba2tF folder to SDcard
3) installed ROM Manager and then Flashed ClockWork Recovery

*** did not use T Backup since i had a fresh wipe***

4) tried Android Recovery and received "failed to boot 2" error

you need to unlocked your bootloader... plain and simple...

I had the same issue you need to unlocked the bootloader.
