Trying to S OFF. error?

i do the reboot and get to the hboot screen and it says its still on.... how the hell do i turn it off???? please help/ im not good with this stuff

You should be trying to root, then, correct? Did you try following the sticky in the ROMs/Hacks section? Those are the directions I used and they worked perfectly.

yes but i just need to s-off and its still on, how do i turn it off.
