Trying to save a video from email.

I sent myself a video from my ipad to my s5 mini gmail account (app).
I downloaded it but couldnt fibd it a ywhere, so i went into
My files
Device storage and i found it there, I copied it into my SD card but when I go to the gallery the video is nowhere to be found, although if I go to the same folder through my files I see it, I even created a new folder and put the video there but ut wont show in the Gallery!

What am .i doing wrong? Or is my phone that is messed up?

Is it a Quicktime video? That's typically not compatible with Android, so that's probably why it doesn't show up in the Gallery. Try a 3rd party player like MX Player--that might have the proper codec to play Quicktime, but I'm not sure.

.mov i dont think this is quick time

.MOV files are QuickTime. Try using MX Player, which is supposed to be able to play .MOV files.
