Trying to spin up old Ticwatch2i that has been factory reset

[Android Central Question]

Ticwatch2i 6988, Android 5.1, Ticwear Tic_4.14.0_intl - My Pixel 4a sees it, seems to connect to it but Mobvoi app and Wear OS app don't see it. Watch displays QR code which is now faulty. Any ideas? Thank you.

Welcome to Android Central! I suspect that watch has been deprecated, since the pairing software is no longer available. It's not a Wear OS watch (as you point out, it's a pared-down version of Android 5.1 with a Ticwear OS overlay), so Wear OS won't do anything with it. You could try contacting Mobvoi support: www.mobvoi.com/us/pages/support. Maybe they can point you to an apk for that pairing softtware.
