Tungsten Carbide - Gorilla Glass's Kryptonite!!

So I go to wipe the screen on my phone with my T-Shirt, had a few finger prints and grease and such... I don't wipe it hard, treat my X like a baby... My ring (made of Tungsten Carbide) just so happened to lightly brush past the screen while i was wiping it and bam, scratch from top to bottom...

Yikes...screen protector since the minute I got the phone...so tempted to take it off and enjoy the full beauty of it though...

I never use em, i never scratch my screens. Just so happens i got married and got the phone on July 15th and had to start wearing this damn ring! lol... I should have gotten gold.

I LOL'd. But honestly, the Steinheil Protectors (Crystal Clear) are pretty good. I have one on mine and you can't even tell it's there.

I have a tungsten carbide ring as well. I have not let it get near the X screen. I have scratched hand rails, put a scratch in my steel desk and I think I may have chipped some concrete with this ring.

I must note, I love this ring. As soon as our wedding was over, we hopped in the limo. We had the driver stop for beer so I could test the ring out as a bottle opener.
