I'm unlocked with a Verizon sim. I was able to turn off the 5g earlier and then I turned it back on. Now I can't find a way to turn it back off. Any suggestions? That app doesn't work anymore either.

Figured as much. The OP is on Verizon so I was sharing that Verizon obviously blocked that. We buy unlocked phones and Samsung still allowing Verizon to dictate what they can do on their phones.

I didn't realize Verizon was able to limit what was on unlocked devices. Do they still load up the bloatware on unlocked devices? The only T-Moble bloat I have is what I installed.

No they don't do that. They take features away like having video call on the dial pad, feature that you can get like call filter. Samsung is a main player in cell phones like apple, I think Samsung can get away with telling Verizon what will be on the phone.

It doesn't surprise me that Verizon took the ability to block 5G away. If I didn't have a job that I travel a lot I would not be on Verizon. That's the one thing Verizon did good on, they let you use your phone where you want without roaming limits. My other main player in my area is US Cellular and they have roaming limits.

Samsung band selection works for me on Verizon with my S22 Ultra unlocked running Android 13.
