Turn Off Device Controls Icon

I never use it, but notice the device controls bubble is illuminated. I can find no way to turn it off. I'm in the release of Android 13 and using Nova Prime. All the instructions on the web do not apply. Should it be on all the time?

I don't think you can disable that. It should highlight it IF there is a currently-active device to control (i.e. smart home device, light, connected headphones even through bluetooth, etc.).

Ok, thanks. I don't believe I have any active devices, but it's ok as long as it's not draining the battery. It might have always been on. I just never noticed it before.
