Turn off quick camera access on HTC One M8

[AC Question]

Everybody seems to be praising the quick camera access by clicking the volume button when in landscape mode, but to me it's the stupidest thing ever. Whenever I want to change the volume while listening to music it kicks in. Is there any way to turn it off?

Oh god I wish! I had to turn off those quick gestures to prevent this stupid camera quick start "feature"
