Turned off NFC, it automatically turns on again after a reboot

I turned off NFC because I don't use it, but I noticed that whenever I reboot the computer, it turns itself on again automatically. Anyone else see this?

Hmm, that's odd. That hasn't happened to me, it only turns itself on after installing an update. You're up to date on your updates, right?

I updated right after getting the phone. I just checked now and it said that I have no updates

Ohh okay. That is strange that is is doing that then.

Very odd. Mine doesn't do that, and I have the phone set to power itself off at night and back on before I wake up.

Can't find the EMUI 4.1 changelogs but I think one of the later updates defaulted NFC to off after a restart.
My 8 doesn't start NFC after turning off and on with the B150 firmware.
