Turning off edge menu per app?

Curious if anyone knows a way to turn off edge menus on an application basis. Some games need touch access around that area and I found myself opening the menu on occasion which can be annoying while being a #tryhard at gaming.

you can move the tab either up and down or to the other side. Otherwise, no.
