How do I turn off the camera geotagging/location feature on the phone ? I've tried doing online research and can't seem to find out how and I have read that the Fascinate doesn't have the capability in the first place ( in an other thread on these Forums).

Is there a way or is it a moot point ?

Thanks,

KGP

I was wondering the same thing, actually.

While I have 'Use My Location' unchecked in the Privacy tab, I don't know if that actually affects the camera.

What I can say is that none of my photos appear to have any location data stored in them.

Does The Camera/Camcorder On My Verizon Wireless SCH-i500 Fascinate Phone Support GPS Geo-Tagging And How Can I Enable It?

The SCH-i500 handset does not support Geotagging.

That's from Samsungs support page.

That's what i was thinking too... I have tried to enable it (it's fun to send pics to flickr while traveling and see a trip on a map) but sadly it doesn't geotag *at all*... One more bit to make me nostalgic for my trusty old blackberry.

Droid X does :)

You might be able to use a third party camera app. Not sure though.
