Tv Sound to Phone not working with S7?

[AC Question]

I used quick connect to connect my Galaxy S7 to my Samsung Smart TV and it connects fine. The TV video to phone works and so does everything else except for TV Sound to phone. I've tried clearing the bluetooth cache and re-pairing but I'm not sure what's wrong with it. It works for my brother fine and he has the same phone. Any suggestions?

Hi, so when you play back a video on the phone, the sound isn't present on the TV? what happens if you connect through screen mirroring?

I'm having the same problem with my s7 edge. Mine used to work though and I'm not sure what made it stop because I didn't use it much. When I recently tried tho it's not working. My s7 edge was updated to 7.0 nougat now so maybe it's something to do with that. My tv has also been updated many times too so maybe it was broken from a tv update bug. Idk but if you figure this out before me lmk.

If the tv sound stopped playing on ur phone .
Just go to sitting on ur tv and stop sound mirroring if its active.
