I have had my EVO3d since launch day. I recently ran into two issues, which I can't seem to find an answer for.

1) I have a new pair of regular Bose headphones. When I plug them into my EVO3d, Google Music will randomly start up and then skip like crazy. Even when I am trying to listen to music with either Google Music or the HTC Music app, the tracks randomly skip around. My cheap pair of Sony's work just fine.

The only thing I noticed that was different than my other pair of headphones, is that when I plug it in, the headphone/microphone icon is in the notification tray vs just a headphone icon.

The Bose headphones work just fine with my Galaxy Tab 8.9. I really don't want to pack two pairs of headphones. Any ideas?

2) When I attempt to download free music from Android Market, I consistently get a "An error has occurred" message, and the download quits. I can download apps just fine. I have gone to the applications settings and cleared the app data. Again, I am at a loss.

Thanks for your help.

Happened to me. So I promptly un-installed Google Music and never looked back. Now I use Amazon MP3 and never have that problem. Totally unacceptable and there has been 0 comment on it from HTC or Google.
