Two Gmail accounts but only one notification

My aunt has the Nexus 4 and has two Gmail accounts linked to it. It only audibly notifies for one of the accounts. The secondary account has notifications on, but it still doesn't work. Any ideas?

You'll have to go in the account settings in both places for that account and set it to sync when the phone does, if sync is off (or unchecked) on email but everything else is set for that account it wouldn't work correctly.

Sync is on and working. This is a notification issue.

For a workaround, did you try using the stock email app instead of the gmail app for the 2nd account?
