Two Question about Stock Camera/Gallery App

Tried to find the answers on previous threads without luck, so sorry if this duplicates...

Two questions:

1. Anyone know how to change the stock gallery app order (to reverse chronological) so that most recently taken pics show up first? It's annoying to have to scroll all the way down to "share" a pic. If no, is there an alternate gallery app that allows for this to be adjusted?

2. I take pics with the stock camera at the highest res but they are often still not crisp if I set them as wallpaper? Is there something I can do to adjust/fix this? If no, would Vignette make this any better?

Thanks.

Good questions, Vignette is definitely worth the money... I just keep my pics on .8 mp they are big enough for emails, and attachments, and you're simply not going to get digital camera quality with the evo (especially when you blow them up)

I read today... "DoDol Wallpaper maker is absolutely fantastic for taking the great shots from the camera app (whichever app you choose) and fitting them perfectly on your Android handset's screen" But havent tried it.

As far as the other part, putting them in order, that would be a great feature to have.

Plug your phone to your computer and select disk drive. GO to the Vignette folder and right click. Then go over to arrange icons by and select Modified On (there might also be an option for ascending and descending) . Then back out. As far as the pictures, keep in mind that blown up to the size of a monitor won't be as clear as it was when it was smaller. I use Vignette all the time and the pictures definitely come out better than using the stock app most of the time.

I do have the paid version of Vignette now, so I'll play with that a bit more.

Just to clarify: I want to use the pics for wallpaper on my EVO not my computer monitor...

Just a quick reply that may be obvious, but I only recently figured it out. Clean your camera lens with a micro cloth-it makes a big difference. Also, whether you use the stock camera app or vignette, touch the screen where you want to focus before you take the picture. That will cause the app to focus on that point and your pictures will be better.
