Two questions on email

I use exchange and my work voice mail gets pushed to my email as an mp3 file. However the voice mail is showing up in my music library and plays when I listen to music. How do I get that to stop happening?

Second I can't seem to set the notification sound I want.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'd like to know about the messages showing up in music too. Also, if I remove them from my music player, am I deleting them all together?

Hmmm, I know in Poweramp you can specify which folders it uses to scan for music files, but I couldn't find any such option in the stock music player.
