Two questions

I have been looking at the optimus instead of the evo due to the extra 10 a month that I cant justify because 4g wont get to me for some time. i still have some time left b4 my 30 days are up so i have these two questions for me and my wife.I looked around but couldn't get an approximate battery life once the battery has been worn in. I was wondering what people have been getting with moderate use. I know with me evo I get 12 hours or so with atk.

My wife is addicted to farmville and wanted to know if the optimus can run it since there isn't flash support currently. Thanks for the answers in advance!

well..on a stats list..the battery life for Optimus S is listed at 5hrs talk time..

for talk time i tested on a full charge..and surprise i got 7hrs and 41mins. (however this was on a one time call..not cont day of calls).

STAND BY, with very lil use last a very long time..few days.

however..using this phone on a full charge (and this is from after using the phone for over a week and draining the battery DEAD )
with a reg. business day with me (starts at 5am) my battery reads 72% by noon. around 4pm its about 40%...and with more use (txting , wifi, web surfing, and app d/ls) I am about 17% by 8-9pm..now if i continue without charging i get to the red indicator (under 10%) and maybe get it till just after 10pm.

then again this is with on and off using.

a hardcore use of this..(wifi with downloading and surfing, games (angrybirds), music..) i prob would have to recharge arnd 2pm. and would prob be near dead by 4pm.


btw..must add..my phone is rooted. does add a bit more life to the battery..

all in all can get trough the day with a full charge.

hope this is helpful..the way people use there phones very, esp with what they have running ect. so..can be a gamble. just rem...optimus s is not an evo nor epic..keep that in mind.

(just like, a netbook is not a gaming laptop).

(i dont play farmville and haven't tried to on optimus s...so sorry no answer there).
