Typing errors

Using Gboard. I seem to be having a lot more errors when I type. I have average to large hands and fingers. My errors are the strike doesn't hit the key I am aiming at. It is the next key or the key above or below etc. I don't really pay strict attention to the key, but I do look at it and press it. I don't have any physical disabilities. I have never used a Swift Key typing screen but might try it.

I know that voice input works great and I use it when I can. Anyone else seem to be getting more errors?

Does this happen with other keyboard apps as well? Also, do you have a screen protector?

No screen protector. Update: I downloaded SwiftKey and it seems to work better for me. The latency seems better. It activates the key quicker than the Gboard screen. I also analyzed my right forefinger which I usually type with and it seems like I have to use the right side of the tip of my finger rather than pressing the center. I get better, more accurate results. I was also able to resize the screen to be a little bigger with SwiftKey.

Glad you got it figured out. I love SwiftKey. Give SwiftKey Flow a try instead of typing each individual letter. It works great and you can even type an entire sentence without having to lift your finger off the screen.

I still have typos with SwiftKey but predictions are a lot, A LOT, better
