UAG vs Spigen Rugged Armor size

I have the spigen rugged armor and I really like the size of it. I've always had more rugged cases that added significant bulk, so I'm really enjoying the size of the spigen rugged armor. My only fear is that it isn't protective enough. I've used UAG cases in the past and I know that they are very protective. How much bigger is the UAG over the rugged armor?
