Uconnect and P30 Pro WITHOUT Android Auto

Anyone figure out a way to connect Hey Google to Dodge's Uconnect 8.4 system without Android Auto???

My Razer phone had a entry called "Voice Search" in the contacts list that allowed me to access all the same functions as Android Auto does with a cord. I could read/send texts, emails, ask for directions etc. I can't seem to do that with the Huawei phone.

You should be able to use any bluetooth functions without a cable, but not integreted funcions like google maps displaying on the screen. Any particular reason you don't want to use the wire?

My version of Uconnect doesn't have Android Auto or Car Play. it's the first gen head unit.
