UDP Line and tablet line

I only have one line right now and that is my UDP line with 450 minutes and unlimited text. Can I add a tablet line without losing the UDP? I was told by a rep that I will lose the UDP if I add a tablet line.

If you are on a nationwide plan then you need to add a smartphone line, activate a smartphone on it, then move the sim to the tablet. Or get the tablet on another plan.

What other plan to put the tablet on? Can I do this on my Verizon?

I don't believe you can do it online.

If you have someone else in your household, I would suggest that you have them open an account, it would probably be easier. Or add your tablet to someone on Verizon with any recent plan that allows tablets

Is there another verizon website to order from? I remember you linked a different portal that is an easier way. Can't find that link.

This helped me add another line. I am not on a family plan so I wasn't able to add a line. I m on the single user 450 Min Unlimited text and data plan.
