UFS 3.1 vs 4.0?

Debating the 128gb S23 vs the 256gb. I definitely don't need the storage space. I also don't game much at all. But I do use my phone a lot for the usual stuff... texting, work emails, support tickets, etc. photos, videos of kids' stuff, and so on. I also use the Secure Folder a lot to split up work and personal stuff (which is the main reason I stick with Samsung).

Is there really a noticeable difference between the two in day to day usage? Or any long term differences that are significant? I only ask b/c Best Buy has some good deals on the unlocked 128gb in my region right now that don't apply to the 256gb... TIA!

There's a difference between the storage variants?

Poisonally I can't really tell much of a difference between my 512GB S23U and my 128(or is it 256?) S21U... I'm sure there is one there, but both are so fast that unless you are looking for it I don't think you will notice it.

Only on the regular S23. The S23+ and S23U are all UFS 4.0.

UFS 4.0 uses about 46% less power than 3.1. Also it is approximately twice as fast theoretically. This could be seen writing or reading large files. But not sure how much of a difference you could notice with day to day usage.
