Ugh...just got 1 weeks worth of texts in 5 minutes (Verizon)

yes, that's right...my phone went an entire week without delivering a text message.

It's also managing to reset itself several somewhat frequently

Is an issue with texting related to the phone or network generally?

Ok, so the Verizon rep told me this. Been having issues with phone resetting and with the texts...


there's a system for alltel customers called tsis, I wasn't added in there, said this could be causing the text issues

Added call delivery to account, saying this could fix reset issues.

Was the rep blowing smoke, or are these legitimate issues?

Any VZW reps here?

I've never heard of these issues related directly to the device. Sounds more like a Verizon goof up honestly.

I've heard of the phone resetting

although it's curious that my Storm had major issues with resetting, and now the Droid has had them (the only 2 Verizon devices I've had since I was merged from Alltel)

Perhaps not having call delivery, whatever that option in their system was...really was the difference


God I hope so. It's so rare to get a tech agent that knows what they're doing sometime through 611, I guess I was lucky this time.

Yeah, I should have been more clear. The text issue did not sound like a Droid issue. Hopefully things are back on track for you. Good luck!

I hope so....getting close to my 1 month, if I gotta get it replaced, want to do it before I'm stuck with a refurb
