Ugly service issues in Chicago metro today 4/4

From phone calls that seem to take 30 seconds before you hear a ring to the dreaded SMS "Radio Resource Shortage" errors (Cause code 64, error class 2), it's been a couple of days of p!ss poor service here in the loop. Both my phone and my wife's are having the same issues and we're a mile or so away from one another. So, it's clearly not a hardware issue. Lots of threads on a variety of boards about it being a hardware problem, regarding the SMS errors, but not this time. I re-booted and it was better then began the delayed rings again. Updated my PRL and waiting to see what's up now....if it's better or not. Just wondered if anyone else around the area is having the same issue.
Tried a "chat" with a Sprint rep but I'm sure you can imagine how well that went
