UI 3.0 and Facebook Messenger Chathead

So UI 3.0 has added either smart popup or bubbles. As a result the Chathead for Facebook Messenger no longer works. But to make it worse neither smart popup or bubbles works for Messenger either. Does anyone know a workaround until maybe messenger updates to a fix for this?

It's working fine on both UI3.0 (Note 20) and UI3.1 (Tab S7). The chatheads look smaller than before but they're certainly working. Also, smart pop-up view has been (annoyingly for some) an option for quite a few models way before UI3.

It seems as though the update turned off the bubble feature in pop up settings menu, go into the system settings and search pop up and go into the menu for messenger and toggle the app onto all or selected messages and they'll show up

Mine has been on selected and still nothing. I changed to all to see what happens.

Nevermind found it. This was off but I didn't turn it off? I guess the A11 update did it for me because that is when this started.

all that stuff is on for me but no chat heads. I'm using smart pop up instead of bubbles as default notifications. does that matter?

I still don't have them either. It was broken in the beta also.

Wonder if it's something messenger can fix or it has to be fixed in the OS.

Same for me. I don't have chatheads at all either. Everything is turned on.
