I picked up a Moto 360 this weekend, and enjoying it for the most part.

I'm struggling with the user experience when it comes to navigating the UI. Example: I downloaded a shopping list app, which is great because now I don't have to carry my phone around while pushing a shopping cart.

Anyway, to get to the app on the phone, I have to double tap the screen, scroll down to Start..., scroll through my apps, then pick the shopping list app. If the screen goes off, then I have to do the same thing all over again. Is there a launcher or something better than this? It's not intuitive and too many steps.

Also, it seems like whenever I look at the watch, to check the time or whatever, the weather forecast is there, and I have to swipe it away. Then the "Connected to wi-fi" notification is there and I have to swipe that away.

Maybe I just need to read the manual!

Try out "Wear Mini Launcher" from the Play Store. Within its settings, you can set "bookmarks" for apps that keep them at the top of the list when you slide to reveal the list of your apps. No more "start" stuff, just slide the drawer out. Much easier.

Try Google Keep app on your phone. You can create a shopping list from your phone/tablet/PC. On your watch it stays open until you swipe it away. :D You can just bring up the microphone on your watch and just say the name of the app +app the open an app, for instance just say "Keep app" and it opens Google Keep.
