UK Dual SIM Galaxy Note 9

I'm thinking of buying a Note 9 in the UK. I see that there is the option of a dual sim version. I've never considered one before - can anyone tell me what the advantages are please. I have had a Three SIM for many years which I find really useful for the using abroad function but my signal at home is not good and it may contribute to poor battery life on my current S9. If I switched to a different provider with a better signal as my main SIM could I use a Three SIM abroad still in the other slot? As you can see, I know very little about dual SIMs! Thanks for any help.

Dual-SIM devices are great for having multiple lines (business / personal) or with different carriers, etc. And yes, if you were abroad you could use your Three SIM and any other SIM that you may want to use. For example: A local SIM.

No drawback at all. I've been using dual SIM phones for many years and they are great. Actually, since my first Android phone I've only used dial SIM models.
