I have UD10 and LOVE the Blackdroid helix launcher and even some of the others, as I see that 3 or 4 choices are included. When I press home, I have the option of Helix Launcher 1, Helix Launcher 2, or Launcher. But none of those 3 are anything special. They are just the default Helix Launchers with different positioning and I've checked all the configuration settings in the launchers, everything in Settings on the phone and I've looked for the answer in forums, but no luck. Will someone please enlighten me to what simple little fact I'm overlooking here? lol.. thanks

Thats the whole problem! LOL.. I have Ultimate Droid 10 and everything else is working EXCEPT the Blackdroid launcher or any of the other special launchers. I have 3 choices for launchers, but all 3 are just basic HelixLaunchers in different locations. How do I get the Blackdroid launcher with the Android icon for the launcher?? I've even wiped and reloaded UD10 from 2 different sources..
If you are on 2.1 and have never rooted, then I'm 99% sure you have to go back to 2.0 to root and then you can flash roms. Rooting is the first step if you haven't though. If you check out droidforums.net there's tons of exact rooting instructions. Once you are rooted and you become familiar with how to use Recovery programs like SPRecovery or ClockworkMod Recovery, then you can flash any rom you want. There's also programs that help you do the flashing of the roms and all once you are rooted, like Rom Manager, etc.
I notice on the Helix 2 it takes time to repopulate the screen when it is rotated. Anyone else notice this?

Thanks. I also noticed when I used the maps and got directions it did not speak the directions. Now it works all of a sudden.
