Ultra Power Saving Mode

Just got the note 5 and love it. Coming from a Galaxy S5. I've been doing a lot of playing with the S Pen, but today noticed the ultra power saving mode only has an estimated time of 1.1 days at 85%. Is this normal for the Notes? The galaxy S5 would have had days of use.

Remember those are guesstimates based on previous and current use.

This is what mine shows right now, but I have been using my phone continuously since I took it off the charger.

How much time is it supposed to give? I remember the galaxy S5 was 10% battery to 24 hours of life remaining. So, the s5 estimate from day one would have been some crazy number like 13 days left at 90%.

It estimates on how you are using it right at the moment.

There is no set time. With ultra power saving mode on, there isn't much it is going to be able to do anyway, so it will last longer. Just because mine said 40 hours, had I turned it on then, the estimate would eventually gone higher, because I had stopped a lot of the background function of the phone.

It is hard to tell how much time left on the battery these days. It estimates according to your usage over the last 7 days and your current usage.

Yes this is normal.
The older Galaxies use to have a longer standby time but it has gotten shorter on the Note 5.
