Yeah don't pay any attention to this, it's a bunch of crap. Droid Pro has had Froyo ever since it's launch, so that right there shows you how much this article is worth

According to Verizon Wireless, update to Android Froyo will come with a bundle of new enhancements on Samsung Fascinate. The device will run applications like V Cast videos, City ID, VZ Navigator, and Amazon Kindle once Froyo update is over. The latest Android firmware is sent to customers via over the air.

Weird, I must be living in the future then, because not 2 minutes ago I wrapped up freezing each one of those apps on my phone.

In the FWIW dept. I talked to Samsung tech guy about issue with a Continuum and point blank asked about 2.2. He says they are doing some additional testing based off of what they saw with T-Mobile. He was not sure what carrier is next, but assured me it was coming to the Fascinate.
