Unable to Access/Use Some Settings

When I try to access or otherwise make use of certain settings menus on my new Xperia Z, the applicable (settings) menu closes and I get an error saying:
"Unfortunately <name> has stopped."

This issue does not affect all of the settings menus, and seems to be most common when accessing the applications settings, or the power management settings menu (the "STAMINA" menu in particular)...

This is extremely frustrating as certain "crucial" settings - such as my STAMINA settings - cannot be adjusted!

The attached screen-shot was taken after trying to access the "STAMINA" menu...

Any ideas?
