today morning my youtube stopped working and I got a prompt to remove and readd my google account. After doing this, most of my contacts which were synced to google have vanished. i tried going to contcats> add account. but i am unable to add the account as it says that the Google account is already added.

Go to Google Contacts. If the contacts don't show, tap (or click) More, then Restore contacts...
You can restore any contacts deleted during the past month.
