Unable to answer calls on Galaxy 7 Edge

The phone rings, but when I try to answer there is nothing there. This usually happens at 0:07 or 0:08 on the call time. When I press the red call end button, there is no response on the screen. I have to press the button on the right of the phone to clear the screen. The caller typically hears continued ringing when I try to pick up. Of course, this only happens sometimes for the last couple of weeks

Instead of tapping the green button, try sliding it.

That's not it. The ringer stops on my end, and the screen looks like the call is live. However, the call is still "ringing" on the sender's end.
