Unable to connect to Internet pass-thru

I am unable to connect to the internet using HTC Sync and internet pass-thru. I'm using Win 7 Ultimate. I've downloaded USB drivers but they won't install. Any ideas?

Try re installing the HTC drivers and reboot the phone.

i have htc inspire 4g and i rooted it to android 4.0. but since then whenevr i connect my usb it doesnt shows the internet pass thru option... i tried a lot but they were of no use.... it only shows USB debugging and USB connected... kindly guide me.....
