Unable to connect to the proxy server"

Hi when I'm using my mobile data and not connected to a wifi, I've been getting this message when online with my Galaxy S4 ...


"Unable to connect to the proxy server"

I don't know anything about technology tbh, so don't even no what a proxy server is. I pay for unlimited pay as you go sim with giffgaff.


Can anyone help this has been become really frustrating over the last week as it happens a lot when I'm surfing the web.

If you are really Mr Samsung then you should know everything there is to know about your Samsung Galaxy 4.
Just joking, but have you contacted your carrier about that proxy? Something, maybe an app, in your phone is trying to go through a proxy which may be a virus.

Also, maybe giffgaff uses proxy servers. Call them and see if maybe they can advise. You might need to replace your sim card or something.
