Unable to find item - GS8+ Calendar

So, I use the calendar widget so I can see my schedule from work which autosyncs to my google and local calendars. - Most- of the time that I click on a day to expand it and see my hours, it errors and tells me unable to find item. It has done this since day one. Often when I click around to to her days (with seemingly no correlation to # of events that day or how far ahead etc) it'll eventually expand and open my google calendar proper from the shortcut of the widget and then I have full control with no errors.

But for some reason something between the widget and the app is going awry.

Is it just your work calendar that syncs to the Google calendar that's the problem?

I believe so? Confirmed yes. Just the one calendar that's being shared from my google account. All other calendars that are shared, like my email's calendar thing work fine.
